Message	a chip will not blow up a motor. It would be another issue with the car, faulty injector, fuel filter, fuel regulator. Could be the MAF, could be so many other little things. You can just as easily blow up a car with a JWT chip as an Ash chip if you don't check everything else. If a car is not up to par, and you put a chip in it and blow it up, it's your own fault.
